Planting season

The garden is slowly taking shape, already started planting my home grown plants. The spinach is doing well and looking forward to eating the salads too. So far the slugs have left them alone.

The other day I’ve noticed that the red beetle is making an appearance a little early I thought, usually it’s when the lily are in flower I’ll have to keep an eye on them.

Am still walking through the countryside I love the wild flowers this time of the year plenty to see bluebells, cowslips, primroses, and now the beautiful white and pink (Silenus) campion and the tiny little buttons of the stitchgworth.
