Back home

After two months away in the Homeland I was ready to come home to my little house in Essex way! We almost had the four seasons in those two months for most part of January the shone brightly, not so much in February where the weather changed somewhat mist for the first part of Feb the last two weeks we had a little sunshine it felt like a very warm spring.

Of course I did go on a couple levada walks up in the mountains with lovely sunshine. The heady scent of pine and eucalyptus certainly clears your head.

Then all hell brakes loose when we are getting ready to come home the weather changes strong winds and torrential rain with claps of thunder, overnight the mountains gets a covering of snow and it feels quite cold too. Our flight is delayed by two days. Am glad to say we did get home late at night so it all ended well.

Now it’s time for the garden. Hubby and I have spent today clearing and preparing the garden. Already put some vegetables seeds down now it’s the waiting game for the seeds to grow.
