That promised rain

After a few days of frosts and very cold mornings now the rain has come to pay us a visit I must say it is very welcome. Yesterday walking round the garden noticed that the plants were looking in a sorry state so this rain is very welcome indeed.

Of course the rain put a stop to my walk but I won’t be bored plenty to occupy me. Later on my little darling we’ll be arriving to spend the day with us and that should keep us very busy haha she is like wirl wind. I suppose we’ll be making cup cakes today.
