Summer this year has been so hot that my garden has suffered real bad, it was not able to cope with the extreme heat my hydrangeas suffering from burnt heads the runner beans dried out! So no fresh green beans this year.
But the courgettes and tomatoes done well. So nice to go in the garden and pick your own veg and fresh home grown herbs. The potatoes done well too.
I suppose going on holiday in the hight of summer was not such a good idea.

It’s hard to have a good garden and also have a good life outside of it. Gardens are so demanding. But you didn’t do too badly.

Yes it is. I was lucky I suppose my girls did manage to keep it afloat! Otherwise it would’ve been much worse.

As soon it had enough water it soon came back to life. Although the girls did a good job.
