On my usual morning walk through the countryside I’ve counted six fields marked for the placing of solar panels but as I walked on counted two more so its going to be a massive area that won’t be producing the much needed grain.

Hopefully we’ll benefit by it maybe lower electric bills? Not holding much hope on that. I suppose its better solar panels than another row of houses that is destroying our beautiful countryside our so called green village that is fast becoming a town.

The farmer we’ll get his pound of gold he will be paid not by the wheat or the barley that he would’ve produced but by how many solar panels placed on his land. Oh perhaps we’ll get cheaper bills!!! Perhaps perhaps perhaps.
Do you really mean solar panels, or do you mean wind turbines? Either way, I agree with you. I’d rather have the grain growing there.

Yes I do mean Solar panels. It looks as if our quaint little green Village has be selected …for all the crap that is going….

Such a shame either way. This green stuff has its down side and no one wants to talk about that part of it. For starters, the panels being made in China. Using up valuable farmland for the panels is not very smart. The panels don’t provide nearly enough power to compensate for the loss in potential food production.
