I was getting worried here on the island of madeira we’ve been having really strong winds and heavy bouts of rain. And today woken up to a lot nicer weather the sun is shining and no buffeting wind!
So happy and keeping our fingers crossed that we’ll be able to go home to spend the Christmas period with my girls after being away for two months it’s time to leave the island and get back to normality.
Here the island is all lit up ready for Christmas hubby and I went into town and it was like walking into fairyland.

In a way it was a little hard but spending Christmas with my girls is a must. One can always go back to paradise in the new year…
